DPRP Support
NADR is developing a CDC Diabetes Prevention Recognition Program (DPRP) readiness and implementation support program to help organizations manage the operational requirements of CDC recognition.
The program will focus on building the systems needed to deliver and sustain high-quality DPP services. This includes documentation, data tracking, staffing workflows, and ongoing monitoring aligned with CDC expectations. The emphasis is on practical implementation and long-term program stability, not just initial recognition.
Why Diabetes Prevention Matters
Diabetes prevention programs play a critical role in reducing long-term health risks and supporting healthier communities.
Why Diabetes Prevention Matters
Effective DPP delivery requires more than curriculum. It requires structure, leadership, and systems that support quality and sustainability.
Who the DPRP Support Program Is For
The NADR DPRP Support program will support:
-
Organizations preparing to launch a CDC-recognized Diabetes Prevention Program
-
Existing DPPs strengthening documentation, data reporting, and operational systems
-
Community-based organizations delivering or scaling prevention services
-
Healthcare organizations integrating DPP into broader population health or prevention strategies
-
Program coordinators and leaders responsible for quality oversight and CDC recognition management

Planned Program Focus
The NADR DPRP support program is being developed to support key areas of program readiness and delivery.

✔ Program setup and readiness
✔ Documentation and reporting systems
✔ Quality improvement planning
✔ Team roles and coordination
✔ Long-term program sustainability

Our Approach
NADR approaches prevention programs the same way we approach DSMES. With a focus on real-world operations, leadership support, and practical application.
The DPP program is being built to reduce complexity, support clarity, and strengthen confidence before implementation begins.

Part of a Broader Training Pathway
The DPP program will complement NADR’s DSMES training by supporting prevention-focused services alongside education and management programs.
Together, these programs support a continuum of care and professional development.
